IRIS Global Product Development Center
At the heart of our product development is the IRIS Global Product Development Center. Based in India, our center of technology excellence where our cloud and software as a service magic happens.
Our engineers are on a mission to build the next generation of cloud-based SaaS accountancy, HR and education solutions to allow our customers to operate as efficiently and painlessly as possible.
Development programmes include our flagship, next-generation Elements platform evolving desktop products (VB6, C, C++ and .Net with SQL Server databases) and cloud solutions (AWS and Azure) with the Elements specific stack including Angular, React, .NetCore, NodeJS and AWS Lambda.
In addition, our Architecture and Security team make sure all changes to IRIS’ architecture are secure, well designed, follow our architectural standards and best practices and are in line with company and product strategy.
To support this, the team maintain a Secure Software Development Lifecycle which has been created to guide engineers through a structured design process that reinforces quality and security considerations. This sits alongside a list of guiding design principles, a set of security and architecture standards, best practices and a variety of blueprints, playbooks and training courses.
