Warren Averett goes live with Star

Birmingham, AL based Warren Averett has gone live on IRIS Star Practice Management. The 800+ strong firm has offices in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Texas plus an office in the Cayman Islands. The project commenced in September 2019.

Warren Averett had grown considerably since implementation of its previous practice management system and as a result of doing so recognized that its requirements were becoming increasingly complex. “In particular, the firm was looking for a scalable product that demonstrated an innovative solution for practice management,” says CIO, Chris Morrow. “Also, our own internal IT skill set has increased over the years as our team has grown and we were looking for a solution and a vendor that we felt would be more open to work with, so we could leverage the skills we now have in-house.”

As a member of Information Technology Alliance (ITA), an independent membership association of leading mid-market technology professionals, consultants, and product/service providers, the Top 40 CPA firm was aware that the majority of other CPA firms in ITA were using IRIS Star Practice Management and decided to investigate further.
