Practice Engine reveals new name, website, and latest release
Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Practice Engine.
As we make strides to improve your experience with us and to help your organization look forward with confidence, we have a new name – IRIS Practice Engine.
This reflects our close alignment with IRIS Software Group, our parent company, following last year’s acquisition.
New name, same great service
As we move to become IRIS Practice Engine, we’re confident that we will bring you the best of the two brands and the best of both worlds. Having been operating for more than 20 years now, we are moving into a fresh era for the business. Rest assured, our much-loved software, service and support is not changing, but you will notice a few exciting differences elsewhere.
IRIS and Practice Engine have always shared the same passion for delivering an exemplary customer experience, building dynamic customer communities and creating solutions so you can get it right, the first time.
What won’t change is the service and support you tell us you love. Our market-leading practice solution will continue to provide the same benefits you are used to, a consistently high level of service, and a customer support team who offer exceptional advice and assistance.
Latest released revealed
Not only are we announcing the name change today, we’re also revealing the latest release v9.7. You will discover an improved all round performance and a host of other benefits. We’re particularly pleased to be giving you the ability to automate the billing process, making your practice even more efficient at getting bills out of the door.
Among the various enhancements to help your business are:
- Closer links between the billing process and jobs, plus the ability to pre-define bills and create a schedule of bills
- New Billing types of Based on Job, and Based on Schedule enable you to mark bills as ready to be billed when certain triggers have been met
- Billing schedules can be applied to jobs with a billing type of Based on Schedule. These allow for multiple bills to be raised against a job at specified trigger points
- A new Recurring Fee Admin page has been added that displays all recurring fees in the system, allowing them to be edited or deleted from a central location. New recurring fees can also be created from here.
Find the full list of new and improved features in the release notes.
