IRIS Software Group Appoints Two Senior Leaders to Aid Americas Expansion
Accomplished leaders, Jairam Padmanabhan and Shanna Milford, will help steer IRIS Americas product and HR strategy as the Group’s North American expansion continues
USA – September 4, 2024 – IRIS Software Group (IRIS), a leading global software provider of accounting and payroll solutions, today announced the appointment of Jairam Padmanabhan as Vice President, Head of Product for IRIS Americas and Shanna Milford as Senior HR Director of the Americas. Both appointments follow another year of outstanding performance and record-breaking growth for IRIS Americas – which now accounts for one-third of the Group’s total revenues.
Jairam Padmanabhan, based in Georgia, has more than 30 years of experience in product management, software strategy, marketing, and development. With extensive experience in the tax and accounting, payments, and legal markets, he brings specialty knowledge in cloud-hosting, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Padmanabhan previously served as Chief Product Officer at XCM® Solutions, a financial and accounting software company recently acquired by Wolters Kluwer. He has also held executive positions at Wolters Kluwer, Aderant, Sage, and Fiserv. Padmanabhan holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from North-Eastern Hill University in India and an MBA from Emory University in Atlanta. In his new role, he will collaborate closely with IRIS’ North American engineering, product, and commercial teams to accelerate the IRIS Americas product roadmap, address customer challenges, and deliver innovative solutions.
Shanna Milford, based in Pennsylvania, brings over 15 years of experience as an accomplished talent leader, recognized for driving hyper-growth in both public and private companies. She has held HR leadership roles at notable technology companies such as Thomson Reuters, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Shift4 Corporation, and Click Therapeutics, and is a member of Fractionals United. Milford’s expertise spans the financial and healthcare enterprise sectors, excelling in recruiting, building, and coaching high-performing teams, through data-driven business decisions and with a “people first” mindset. She has successfully managed complex global transformations with change management strategies and has acted as a culture change agent, improving post-acquisition employee engagement and reducing attrition. In her new role, Milford will focus on supporting IRIS’ rapid growth in the Americas, collaborating with the global HR team and senior management to advance the company’s objectives.

Shanna and Jairam’s recent appointments complement IRIS’ already well-rounded global leadership team, with recent U.S.-based executive hires including, Chief Product Officer Neel Lee Chauhan, Chief Marketing Officer Alys Reynders, non-executive chairman Gus Malezis, non-executive director Chris Jurasek, and President and General Manager of the Americas Jim Dunham.
